3 Days 2 Nights TREKS & ACTIVITIES &
COMMUNITY WORK
- Each group will be
consist of a minimum of 6 persons and a maximum of 10-12 persons. If
you do not want to join other trekkers, an individual trek can be
arranged and you will be charged accordingly.
- You will stay with
hill tribes family in the village of the various tribes, sleeping on
wooden or bamboo floors with no fanciful amenities. However, there
will be clean water for showering, drinking and cooking and we will
provide you with sleeping bag and rucksack, a water bottle which you
have to carry during the trek. The porters will only carry the food
and cooking utensils.
- Treks are conducted
through out the year but temperature varies :
November – February

Your luggage and other items which you do not want to bring on trek
and be kept in the hostel or hotel for safekeeping.
- You are only required
to bring your personal belongings like clothing, good walking shoes,
slippers, raincoat, first aid kit, swimming suit, warm jacket etc..
- The package will
include transportation, accommodation, meal on trek included the
first day lunch to the last day lunch. You will also be accompanied
by a Thai Hill Tribes guide who speaks tribal languages, local
dialects and has a good command of English to lead and assist the
group. All our Thai Hill Tribes guide have Tourist Guide License
from T.A.T.

Adventure Trekking Program for those who wanting a bit more
of a challenge:
3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS TREK NORHTHERN THAILAND PROGRAM:
This itinerary is a basic program for 3 Days 2 Nights
extension is possible, however subject to seat availability
Day 01 : Chiang
Mai – Hill Tribes(L/D)
Breakfast on your own at the hotel or the hostel. Depart from
Chiang Mai Youth Hostel at 09.30 A.M. to Southwest of Chiang Mai to Doi
Inthanon National Park & Mae Jam, Mae Hong Sorn area. Stop at the
local market and continue the trip to cave and waterfall for our lunch
and if you wish, go swimming. Then we start the trek for 1hrs. to Akha
and Shan hill tribes villages where we can learn about the hill tribes
life and their tradition and culture before continuing our walk to Meo
hill tribes villages. Overnight with Meo hill tribes family at this
village. ( Understanding of the hill tribes culture and customs, some
community work for the village)
Day 02: Hill
Tribes (B/L/D)
Breakfast, we walk through the jungle to the waterfall and
elephant camp (3hrs.) and have lunch. Afternoon we take an elephant ride
through to the jungle around 2-2.30 hrs. Then we walk to the Karen hill
tribes village try to do some activities with children and families such
as teaching with song and game, helping in the fields, barbering for
children and giving education materials etc… as we can then dinner and
overnight here.
Day 03: Hill Tribes – Chiang Mai (B/L)
Breakfast, start the trek
for 2 hrs. to Shan hill tribes village Then take an exciting bamboo
rafting for 2 – 2.30 hrs. travelling down the headwater of Mae Jaem
river until we reach at another Shan village, rest and lunch here, our
meeting point for our truck to Doi
Inthanon
National Park visit some interesting point on the way back to Chiang
Mai. (Free tour to visit National Park)
End of our trek. (around:
06.00 P.M.), transfer back to your hotel or Chiang Mai Youth Hostel.
